INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING PUBLIC COMMENTS
For public meetings with a teleconference option
Pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order N-29-20, teleconferencing may be utilized for public meetings.
The Town of Danville encourages residents to participate in public meetings. Members of the public can watch or listen to meetings via the web-video communication platform Zoom. Agendas are posted on the Town website: https://www.danville.ca.gov/agendas
Public comments may be provided in one of two ways:
Zoom - verbal comments
Email - written comments
Zoom: To provide live comments during a virtual meeting, join the meeting at the scheduled time via the Zoom link provided on each agenda. When the agenda item is opened to public comment, click on the "Raise Your Hand" option in Zoom. Your name will be announced and you will have up to 3 minutes to share your comments.
Email: To provide written comments, send an email to the staff contact listed on the agenda prior to the comment deadline. Correspondence should include the meeting date and agenda item number. All comments received prior to the deadline specified on the agenda will be provided to the Council/Commission/Board members in advance of the meeting. Written comments will not be read into the record.
If you have questions, contact the City Clerk at 925-314-3401 or email the City Clerk.
Meetings of the Town Council are video recorded. You can view Town Council meetings live on this webpage. When a meeting is in progress, you will find a link to open the video viewer. You can watch videos of past meetings in the archives.
Archived meetings are arranged by date, with the most recent at the top of the list. Select Video to watch / listen to the meeting and view documents. Select Agenda or Summary of Actions to view only the documents. You can also search the archives by typing keywords into the Search box.
Windows Media Player is required to view the videos. This can be downloaded for free from the Microsoft website. The minimum system requirements for watching the Archived video are available through Granicus.
