Holiday Pop-Up Gift Market at the Plaza

On Saturday, December 13, Downtown Danville will be even more festive with a Holiday Pop-Up Gift Market at Prospect Park Plaza from noon to 3 p.m.More Festive Square (1) This outdoor marketplace will bring a cozy and vibrant seasonal atmosphere to the plaza, offering the charm and warmth often found in traditional winter markets. Visitors can browse one-of-a-kind items from local makers while live music fills the air. The plaza will also feature new festive backdrops, perfect for snapping a holiday photo with family or friends. NOTE: Saturday, December 20 Holiday Pop-Up Gift Market has been cancelled due to weather.

11Live Music Downtown

Beginning on Saturday, November 29, the Town will host live holiday music at Prospect Park Plaza every Saturday afternoon through December 20. Don’t miss a special appearance by the real Auggie Elf on December 6!

Santa's making his list and checking his mailbox! From December 1 to December 12, kids can drop off their letters to Santa at the Danville Community Center or the Danville Library during business hours. Make sure to include your name and mailing address and you will receive a letter in return by December 24.

Celebrate the magic of the holidays at Elf Workshop! Join us December 12 and 13 at the Danville Community Center for a festive, hands-on craft experience designed for children ages 1 to 9. Kids will enjoy creating holiday-themed crafts and getting into the seasonal spirit. Plus, families can visit with Santa and snap a memorable photo. It's holiday fun the whole family will enjoy!

The Auggie Elf Holiday Hunt invites everyone to explore the festive holiday displays across Downtown Danville through the end of the year. With over 30 participating locations, there’s plenty of festive fun waiting to be discovered. Don't forget to vote for your favorites now through January 4.

Fill the CruiserToys for Tots

The Danville Police Department is partnering with the Marine Corps Reserve for its annual holiday Fill the Cruiser Toys for Tots toy drive. The police department will be collecting new, unwrapped toys outside Marshalls in Danville on Friday, December 5 and Friday, December 12 from 12-5 p.m. Donations can also be dropped off at the Danville Police Department during regular business hours until December 15. All toys collected will be donated to children in need throughout Contra Costa County.
