Live Locally

Pledge to Support Local Businesses. Sip, Shop, Dine, Experience Danville,

"I pledge to SupPORT Local"

Our local businesses are the heart of our small-town community. Many have been heavily impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. To preserve our business community we need to support them now and shop locally this holiday season. The Town of Danville, in partnership with the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce and with input from local businesses, has developed a grassroots campaign to encourage everyone to pledge support for our businesses.

We are asking everyone to join the I Pledge to Support Local movement. As part of this campaign, we have created a ‘Danville Picks’ Holiday Gift Guide (PDF).

Businesses can participate by including gifts in the Danville Picks Holiday Gift Guide or by gifting to clients or employees from the gift guide. For more information on how businesses can get involved, visit the "I pledge to Support Local" for Businesses page.

We are also encouraging everyone to unite to promote I Pledge to Support Local through all your social media channels.

Danville truly is - all in this together, let’s make an impact together by taking the Pledge to Support Local this holiday season.
