Residential Permit Parking

The Town Council will be reviewing and determining the future of the Residential Parking Permit Program on June 8, 2022 at 5PM. For more information, please see the applicable staff report here.  

Occasionally, staff will receive inquiries regarding the feasibility of implementing a residential parking permit program. These requests typically come from residents who live within the immediate vicinity of a school or close to the downtown core. Currently, the Town only issues Residential Parking Permits to two areas:

Downtown Core

Residential Permit Parking Area within the downtown business district core:
  • East Linda Mesa / Rose Street Apartment Units

West-Side Danville

Residential Permit Parking Area near the Vicinity of San Ramon Valley High School:
  • Alice Court
  • Camino Amigo
  • Camino Amigo Court
  • Glen Road
  • Las Barrancas Drive
  • Love Lane
  • Mauri Court
  • Veda Drive
  • Verona Avenue
  • Verona Court

The residential permits are issued by the Danville Police Department, and can be obtained by providing proof of residence.
