Plan your summer and have fun at Rec Expo

Get a sneak peek at Danville’s summer 2026 programs at the 16th Annual Recreation Expo & Open House. This free, family-friendly event gives residents a chance to explore camps, classes, and activities while enjoying themed treats along the way. Inspired by The Very Hungry Caterpillar, this year’s Expo invites attendees to “eat their way” through three downtown locations. At the final stop, spin the prize wheel for a chance to win priority registration, discounted programs, and more.

Get an inside look at the Town of Map of Locations of the 2026 Rec ExpoDanville Recreation, Arts, & Community Services classes and programs at the 16th annual Recreation Expo & Open House on Saturday, February 7.  The event will take place across three Town facilities between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., presenting a variety of activities happening this spring and summer as well as programs offered daily.

The Rec Expo & Open House begins at the Danville Community Center. Storytime at the new book bench at the Danville Library will be held from 10:30–11 a.m., followed by a presentation by The Bug Lady at the Village Theatre from 11:15 a.m.–12:15 p.m. 

Spring Activity Guides with summer camp information have been mailed to Danville, Alamo and Diablo residents, and are available online at www.danville.ca.gov/activityguide. Registration for spring programs, summer camps and aquatics begins on February 10 for Danville residents. Open registration will begin on February 17.
