Alex | Hi! My name is Alex, and I am a freshman at SRV. This is my first year on the Danville Youth Council. I love playing sports, especially basketball. My favorite thing to do is go to a Warriors game. I am also a referee for Mustang and an Umpire for SRVLL and TVLL. I'm excited to be on the DYC and work with the team on lots of fun events. | |
Allyson | Hello! My name is Allyson, and this is my second year on the DYC. I'm a junior at Monte Vista High School, where I play the flute and piccolo in the Wind Ensemble. When not in school, I love to dance; I take ballet, contemporary, and Dance for Parkinsons classes. Giving back to the community is something I enjoy, and I'm looking forward to working with DYC members and getting involved in upcoming events! | |

Arthur | Hello, my name is Arthur. I attend San Ramon Valley High School as a 9th grader. This is my 1st year as a DYC member. I’m excited to take on new challenges. I'm passionate about learning and always looking to find new friends. I enjoy playing soccer and trumpet, gardening, and spending quality time with my family. CJ | Cornel (CJ) is a freshman at San Ramon Valley High School, excited to begin his first year on the Danville Youth Council. An avid swimmer for the Crow Canyon Sharks, he also cherishes time with family. CJ's passions include environmental conservation, music, and community service. At school, I actively participate in the Asian Culture Club, compete in STEM contests, and am the captain of the varsity tennis team. Jacob | Hi, my name is Jacob. I am an eighth grader at Charlotte Wood Middle School, and this will be my first year on the DYC. My favorite subjects in school are Science, Spanish, and Band where I play alto sax. Apart from school activities, I enjoy playing soccer and am an active participant in my Boy Scout Troop. Madeline | Madeleine is a sophomore at San Ramon Valley High School, which she represents for the Danville Youth Council. She is passionate about giving back to her community at the DYC. She has started multiple tutoring initiatives, most recently a free writing program for elementary-aged students. In her free time, she is an avid tennis player and writer. She is looking forward to serving on the DYC and is grateful to have the platform to represent the teens and youth in the community. | |
Mishel | Hi, I’m Mishel and I’m an 8th grader at Stone Valley Middle School! I love writing, drawing, and dancing. This is my first year being a DYC member and I am thrilled to give back to the community! I'm actively involved in different advisory boards and councils in the school district and Danville Library. It really allows me to connect with other students in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District and have a meaningful impact on our community. In my free time I enjoy running, going on hikes, and baking. | |
Neil | Neil is a senior at Monte Vista High School with a strong passion for advocacy, leadership and community service and has been serving on the DYC for the past four years. Neil also started the ACEing Autism Danville Chapter to help teach tennis to kids on the autism spectrum. He has helped expand the program to other high schools in the East Bay. In his free time, he enjoys reading, coding, and playing tennis and guitar. Neil is excited to continue collaborating to make a positive impact on his community. | |
Sidney | Hi! I'm Sidney, and this will be my fourth year on the DYC. I'm currently a junior at SRV, where I serve as president of the French club and am involved in leadership! In leadership, I work on the Comrades Committee, planning events for our special education students. Outside of school I dance competitively and enjoy volunteering. My favorite Town of Danville event is the Halloween Spooktacular. This year in DYC, I'm excited to incorporate community voices as we brainstorm project ideas! | |

Sohail | Hi, I'm Sohail! I’m currently a sophomore at San Ramon Valley High School. This is my first year on the DYC and I’m excited to help better our community! At school, I am president of 3 clubs, including the AI Club. Additionally, I am a member of the SRVUSD Student Senate. Basketball and volunteering are two of my greatest passions. I also enjoy going to the gym, playing the piano, and developing iOS apps! Outside of school, I love spending time with friends and traveling the world with my family. | |

I'm also the vice-president of the self-defense club. Outside of school, I play the piano and sing. Vaishnavi | Vaishnavi is a junior at San Ramon Valley High School. She enjoys interacting and networking with people coming from diverse, multi-cultural backgrounds. At school, she tutors peers and is on the Interact/Rotary Club, a volunteering group. On the weekends, she loves spending time playing the piano for residents at senior living homes and rehabilitation centers. Zara | Hi! My name is Zara, I'm a sophomore at Monte Vista High School. I'm a competitive swimmer who loves watching Netflix and writing in my free time. I am passionate about giving back to my community, in Danville and around the world. My goal this year is to extend my reach as a speaker, volunteer, and teacher internationally.
