The Zoning Ordinance defines different categories of land within a community into "zones" (residential, commercial, agricultural, office, etc.) to establish general development and land use requirements to promote and protect the public safety, health, peace, comfort, and general welfare of the community as well as protect the character, social, and economic vitality of neighborhood districts.
The Town's online GIS map, Danville Pioneer, provides zoning and other useful parcel information. Search by parcel number (APN), address, or owner name. A report showing the zoning district will be provided to help determine what regulations would apply.
