The mission of the Information Technology Division is to provide access to and support of technology resources, for both information and communication, which is timely, accurate, reliable and secure.
The Information Technology Division is responsible for the entire hardware, software, and technology infrastructure that supports the Town’s operations at its eight sites: the Town Offices, Community Center, Library, Veterans Memorial Building, Village Theatre, Town Meeting Hall, Oak Hill Park, and the Maintenance Service Center. These include data information systems, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, telephone and other communication systems, audio/visual equipment, personal electronic devices, printing and duplication, workflow and document management, physical access control systems, and video surveillance.
The Division provides a high level of support to ensure reduced response times and increased effectiveness in resolving issues. The Division also monitors and maintains all the systems, cloud services, servers, network infrastructure, integrated systems, and desktop systems. We are consistently seeking new technologies to further improve efficiency and productivity so that the staff of the Town can better serve the community.
