Youth and Jr. Youth Academies

The Danville Police Department is proud to offer a Youth Academy to current San Ramon Valley High School and Monte Vista High School students and a Junior Youth Academy for middle school students.

Danville teens are invited to take part in this unique program aimed at providing them with the background and information to understand the role of law enforcement and how they can help keep their community safe.

The High School Youth Academy is one week long while the Middle School Junior Youth Academy is a one-day experience. Both programs are held over the Summer.

Youth Academy is back for Summer 2022

The Danville Police Department is excited to announce the return of the Danville Police Youth Academy!

High school students who want to learn more about law enforcement can join us from July 12-15 for a unique behind-the-scenes camp. Training topics may include elements of the law, search and seizure, traffic stops, K9 demonstration, investigation, DUI enforcement, forensics, and more!
This is a free program. Registration is open now at www.danville.ca.gov/recguide  class number 31733. For questions, please contact Lauren Brown at 925-314-3700 or lbrown@danville.ca.gov
