Town Manager

Overview

The Town of Danville operates under the Town Manager / Council form of government. The Town Council provides overall policy direction, with the Town Manager responsible for implementing adopted town policies. The Town Manager, along with the town's professional staff provides advice and assistance to the Town Council in the performance of their duties.

Additional Duties

  • Coordinates Town working relationships with external agencies and community organizations
  • Facilitates communication and sharing of information among the Town Council, Commissioners, Town Staff and the community
  • Supervises and directs the administration of all Town operating departments and activities

Board Member

The Town Manager also serves as a Board Member on the East Bay Regional Communications System Joint Powers Authority and the Oversight Board for the Successor Agency to the former Community Development Agency.
