An evening of music and community August 3 at the Town Green in Danville
Gather your friends, family, and your favorite local restaurant fare for the final event of this year’s free Town of Danville Music in the Park concert series, scheduled for Saturday, August 3, at the Town Green. In addition to the concert, the Town will debut the Mini Auggie Stuffie in honor of the Town mascot’s birthday.
This concert will take place at the bandstand with musical group The Unauthorized Rolling Stones from 6 to 8 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to dine downtown before the show or pick up to-go meals to enjoy a picnic on the Town Green.
Fans of Auggie can collect the new Mini Auggie Stuffie, which will be available for purchase at $15 each. The toy is in honor of Auggie’s third birthday, which is August 1.
There is ample free parking available at the Town's municipal lots and on public streets near the Town Green. Attendees should bring their own chairs or blankets for seating and should set up their seats facing the bandstand gazebo to ensure a clear view of the performance.
