Kidchella Returns to the Town Green with Two Live Concerts
Danville Kidchella is back: the annual children’s summer reading and music festival series returns June 14 and July 11. Join the Town of Danville and Danville Library as they present activities and live music for kids ages 11 and younger.
This free, annual series features a fun itinerary of events for families to enjoy. The Town will host two performances at the Town Green, and the Library will host kid-friendly activities such as story time and crafts for each concert.
The first performance on Wednesday, June 14, will feature fan favorite Octopretzel and their full band. Before the show, the Library will host a preschool story time at 11 a.m., with a craft activity after the show. The second show on Tuesday, July 11, will bring funk and ska music by Purple Fox and the Heebie Jeebies to the Town Green at noon, followed by the Library’s Explorations Stations event.
The Town Green is at 420 Front Street. For additional information on Kidchella, contact John Dunn at 925-314-3418 or jdunn@danville.ca.gov
