Danville’s Community Pianos Return to Downtown
Residents invited to share their musical talents
The Town of Danville is thrilled to announce the return of the community pianos. Pianos are available outside of the Danville Senior Center, Danville Community Center, and the Village Theatre & Art Gallery for all ages to share their musical talents with residents and visitors alike.
In May, the Town put a call out to local high school and middle school students to create new designs for the pianos. Several local young artists submitted colored sketches of their original designs and three were chosen. The cow print piano at the Danville Community Center was painted by Lucine B. The piano in front of the Village Theatre & Art Gallery was designed by Elizabeth M. The “Summer of Love” piano in front of the Danville Senior Center was created by Ashley G.
