Neighborhoods Invited to Join National Night Out on August 2
Annual community campaign promotes police and community partnerships
Neighborhoods throughout the Town of Danville are invited to join millions of neighbors and communities across all fifty states, US territories, and military bases worldwide in celebrating National Night Out. National Night Out is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
From 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, neighbors throughout Danville and across the nation are asked to lock their doors, turn on their front porch lights and spend the evening outside with neighbors and law enforcement.
Danville celebrates National Night Out by hosting block parties, cookouts, and other community events with youth activities, visits from Town of Danville Council Members, and officers from the Danville Police Department.
Join the Town of Danville and National Night Out by hosting a block party for your neighborhood. To sign up and schedule a visit from Town of Danville personnel, contact Crime Prevention Specialist Lindsay Ortiz at (925) 314-3717 or lortiz@danville.ca.gov.
