Kidchella Reading and Music Festival Series Returns
Storytime at the Library and Live Music on the Town Green
The Town of Danville is excited to welcome back the annual Children’s Summer Reading and Music Festival “Kidchella”.
This free, annual series is a collaboration between the Town of Danville’s Recreation, Arts & Community Services Department and the Danville Library and features a fun itinerary of events for families to enjoy. The Town will host two performances on the Town Green at 420 Front Street. The first show is scheduled for Wednesday, June 15, with The Raytones. Participants can also hang out with Ray the Rhino. The second show will be on Wednesday, July 13, as Asheba brings the sounds of the Caribbean to Danville. Both days start with storytime in the Library at 11:15 a.m., followed by a concert on the Town Green at noon. After the concert, participants can enjoy arts and crafts along with a story walk.
The latest information on all Town events can be found on the website calendar at www.danville.ca.gov/events.
