Town Talks with the Mayor 
May is Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and in this month’s Town Talks installment, Danville Mayor Newell Arnerich will discuss mental health, how access to mental health resources is improving and how the community can access mental health resources in Danville and locally. 

Town Talks with Mayor Newell Arnerich will be live-streamed at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022. Mayor Arnerich invites guests to discuss various topics of interest to Danville residents. The program is held on the first Friday of each month via Zoom. For details of upcoming events and previous videos, please visit

The guests joining the Mayor on May 6 include Shawn Kumagai, the District Director for Assemblywoman Rebecca Bauer-Kahan; Dr. Nitsa Dimitrakos, Clinical Director Discovery Counseling Center and Paige Meyer, San Ramon Valley Fire Protection Chief.
