Photographs can transport viewers with the magic of light and shadows, perspective and composition. The camera is an enchanting tool that can take viewers on a journey from unexplored vistas to intimate spaces, ultimately offering a new view into the ordinary and the extraordinary.  Since the early 19th century, the camera has been used to record a moment in time - the Village Theatre Art Gallery wants to see the moments photographers are capturing today.

The Village Theatre Art Gallery is pleased to have Heather Snider, Executive Director of PhotoAlliance in San Francisco, as the juror for the Gallery's 12th annual juried exhibition. Heather has a profound passion for the arts, with a deep love for photography developed through three decades in the field. For most of her career, Heather has been based in the photo-hub of San Francisco. She has worked with national and international foundations, artists, galleries, publications, non-profits, and museums.

The call for entry is open to emerging and established photographers who reside in the USA. Photographers may upload up to three images of original photography. For entry information, please visit the Gallery's webpage at and apply online at
