[ARCHIVED] Call For Artists For New Town Offices Artwork

Call for Artists – The Town of Danville is Seeking Local Professional Artists for an Artwork for the New Town Offices

All entries should be submitted by September 30, 2021

Calling all local artists! The Town of Danville is seeking professional artists who wish to be considered by the Town’s Art Advisory Board for a unique and site-specific commissioned artwork. The final work will be painted onto three large canvases and hung in the rotunda at the Town’s new office space located at 500 La Gonda Way.  This artwork will be a long-term attraction to greet residents and visitors upon entry to the new Town Offices building, due to open in 2022.  The work should aim to represent the Town in a contemporary artistic style and celebrate the Town’s landscape, history and heritage. With three separate panels, artists have the opportunity to highlight up to two different design concepts that will work together as one tryptic painting.

The Town is accepting submissions until 5:00 p.m. on September 30, 2021

Artists should submit their proposal at https://artist.callforentry.org/festivals_unique_info.php?ID=9367
