[ARCHIVED] Kidchella Returns for Live Performances on the Town Green

Kidchella Returns for Live Performances on the Town Green

Town to host Summer Festival Series in partnership with the Danville Library

The Town of Danville is excited to welcome back the annual Children’s Summer Reading and Music Festival “Kidchella” for live, in-person shows. In partnership with the Danville Library, the Town will host two performances on the Town Green at 420 Front Street. The first show is scheduled for Wednesday, June 16, and features The Raytones. The second show is on Wednesday, July 21, with Octopretzel.  Each event starts at 11:00 a.m. with a storytime reading via social media. Families can then settle in on the Town Green for a one-hour live concert and take-home music-related crafts for the first 100 participants.

Kidchella seating will be outside on the Town Green at 420 Front Street, as pre-registered Pod seating. Each Pod is spaced six feet apart and can accommodate a group of up to 4 people. Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets to the event.

For more information or to register for this event visit or call (925) 314-3400. Due to updates in current health guidelines, seating is subject to change.
