Comedy in Place with Liz Grant Sets November Show
Michael Meehan takes the stage as November headliner
More comedy is coming to your living room in November as the Town of Danville brings you another fantastic Comedy in Place with Liz Grant & Friends. The new show airs via Zoom at 7:30 p.m. on November 7, 2020. Headlining the upcoming show is San Francisco comedian Michael Meehan.
Meehan has been featured on various television shows such as Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and Last Comic Standing, along with appearances on MTV half hour comedy, PBS Comedy Tonight, and A&E’s Comedy on the Road. In addition to stand-up comedy, Meehan wrote and directed the comedy film, “Hey Monster, Hands off my City” to great reviews. He travels extensively, bringing his hilarious surrealistic wackiness wherever he goes.
Joining Meehan on the virtual stage this November are a trio of featured comics:
Danville favorite Chad Opitz is back with his eclectic style of one liners, short story jokes, and songs.
Richard Sarvate, whose showcase was named Best Comedy in SF for three consecutive years.
Returning comedy veteran, Tony Sparks. This audience favorite returns with his hilarious and animated ad-libs.
As always, the show is hosted by comedian Liz Grant, winner of the Brian Regan Impression Contest, and who has opened for Dana Carvey and Robin Williams.
