[ARCHIVED] Danville Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charge

Danville Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charge

24-year-old arrested following search warrant

On Wednesday, September 18, 2019, the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, comprised of the Danville Police, Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office, San Ramon Police, Pleasant Hill Police, United States Secret Service, and the Department of Homeland Security’s Investigations and Probation Division, executed a search warrant in the 500 block of Mission Drive in Danville. A 24-year-old Danville resident was taken into custody on child pornography charges.

The search warrant was issued as part of an investigation stemming from a cybertip received by the Danville Police Department.  The investigation led police to believe that a resident of the home, identified as Caleb Gore, 24, of Danville, was in possession of child pornography.

Based on the investigation Gore was arrested and was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility on charges of possession of child pornography. Bond has been set at $200,000.

The case will be presented to the District Attorney’s Office for prosecution pending the completion of the investigation
