Music in the Park Returns
Summer music series kicks off June 22 with Lumberyard
Enjoy a harmonious day of music out in the summer sun at Danville’s Music in the Park. The Town of Danville’s free summer concert series offers a wonderful array of live performances against the scenic beauty of Oak Hill Park and the Town Green.
Bring a blanket, a picnic, and the whole family for singing, dancing, and socializing on June 22, 2019 as the band Lumberyard kicks off our new season. Comprised of Dan DeShara, Tom Fleming, Jim Bogios, Dave McCullogh, and Paul Shenton, Lumberyard is a “good time, foot stompin’, class rock, funk and techno dance band.” The band plays music from the 60’s and 70’s with some 80s thrown in as well.
This FREE concert is held from from 6 p.m to 8 p.m. For the concerts at Oak Hill Park, you can bring your own picnic dinner, or enjoy the fine selection of cuisines provided by Food Truck Mafia.
