[ARCHIVED] Auditions Announced for Danville’s Senior Variety Show

Social Media Variety Show 2025

Performers aged 50 years and older are invited to shine at the Village Theatre this September

Adults aged 50 and older are invited to share their talents and take the stage at the Senior Variety Show this September. Auditions for the show will be held Wednesday, July 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Village Theatre at 233 Front Street.

Whether it’s singing, dancing, comedy, magic, or another crowd-pleasing performance, interested participants are encouraged to audition with an act that is three minutes or less in length.

To be considered, performers must complete and submit a Performer Proposal Form online or in-person at the Danville Senior Center at 115 E. Prospect Avenue no later than 5 p.m. Friday, June 16. Only those who submit a completed proposal form by the deadline will be eligible to audition.

This beloved community event celebrates the creativity and talent of older adults and offers a fun, welcoming environment for performers and audience members alike. The 2025 Senior Variety Show is set to take place September 13 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the Village Theatre. Tickets will be available starting Monday, July 28 at www.danville.ca.gov/tickets.
