[ARCHIVED] Job Fair For Teens Supports Local Businesses

Job Fair Call for Businesses

Town staff will host job fairs at two high school campuses.

The Town of Danville will host job fairs on two high school campuses to connect Danville teens to local businesses looking to hire.  The teen job fairs will be April 17 from 12 to 1:15 p.m. at San Ramon Valley High School and April 25 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Monte Vista High School.

Local businesses looking for seasonal, part-time, and full-time staff ages 15-18 are welcome to host a table at one or both job fairs. Organizations looking for teen volunteers are also welcome. Businesses and organizations interested in participating should contact the Danville Teen Programs staff at 925-314-3400 or recreation@danville.ca.gov. The deadline for businesses and organizations to register to participate is April 8.

Teens that are looking for a seasonal job for the summer, a volunteer opportunity, or even a more long-term role can attend a job fair during lunch time at their high school. Local businesses and organizations will be at the job fair with more information about current and upcoming opportunities. All grades are welcome.  For more information, contact Lindsay Rowan, Program Supervisor, at 925-314-3403 or lrowan@danville.ca.gov.
