Senior Tech Fair January 31

Upcoming Free Educational Events for Danville Adults and Seniors

Danville offers a wide range of engaging programs for adults and seniors, with several free learning opportunities coming up in the weeks ahead, including the debut of a new after-hours series, Educational Evenings, and the Senior Tech Fair on Saturday, January 31.

The Danville Senior Center is launching Educational Evenings, free learning events where adults and seniors can connect, explore, and grow together. The first session, What Everyone Should Know About HICAP, takes place Wednesday, January 28 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and will explain how Contra Costa County Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program (HICAP) counselors can help with Medicare questions and issues. The next session, Future Planning Panel for You and Your Loved Ones, is Wednesday, February 18 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and will offer legal, financial, and lifestyle insights to help adults, seniors, and family members navigate key transitions and plan ahead with clarity and confidence.

The Senior Tech Fair will be held Saturday, January 31 from 9 a.m. to noon in the Valley Oak Room at the Danville Community Center. Bring your own device to explore stations featuring free online resources and connect with tech-savvy student experts for answers to your tech questions and personalized guidance. The Danville Police Department will also be there to share important tech safety tips.

These free events are just a few examples of the variety of programs, classes, and activities Danville offers for adults and seniors throughout the year. Register for these events and discover more opportunities at danville.ca.gov/seniors
