[ARCHIVED] Live Comedy Returns to the Village Theatre Stage November 2

Social Media Comedy Show Fall 2025

Community invited as Liz Grant and David VanAvermaete film comedy specials before live crowd 

The Village Theatre is turning up the laughter this fall with a special night of stand-up comedy featuring powerhouse performers Liz Grant and David VanAvermaete. Audiences are invited to experience an evening of sharp wit, big laughs, and unforgettable entertainment as both comedians film their individual comedy specials live on stage. 

The show takes place at 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, at the Village Theatre. This event will be filmed and recorded, capturing the energy of a live audience as both comedians deliver their best material. Tickets are $35 for General Admission and $49 for VIP Front Row Seating. Availability is limited, and guests are encouraged to secure their seats early for this one-night-only event at danville.ca.gov/tickets.

The Village Theatre & Art Gallery building dates back to 1913 and has been part of the community since its start as the Grange Hall. The building hosts quarterly art exhibitions and numerous live performances annually. The Art Gallery is open Monday to Tuesday by appointment only, Wednesday to Friday from noon to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
