[ARCHIVED] Santa’s Mailbox Returns to Danville for the Holiday Season

Santas Mailbox

Send holiday wishes straight to the North Pole at two convenient drop-off locations

The Town of Danville announces the return of Santa’s Mailbox, a holiday event that gives children the opportunity to send letters directly to Santa Claus. From December 2 through December 13, kids can drop off their letters at two designated locations: the Danville Community Center or the Danville Library.

Special holiday-themed stationery is now available for families to download and print in advance from the Town website at www.danville.ca.gov/santasmailbox. To ensure every child receives a response from Santa before Christmas, families must include the child’s full name and mailing address with their letter. Santa’s helpers have guaranteed that replies will be mailed back by December 24.

Drop-off hours for the Danville Community Center, located at 420 Front Street, are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. At the Danville Library, located at 400 Front Street, letters can be dropped off Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
