Monday Senior Lunch Program
Lunch is served each Monday at noon with a suggested $3 donation or a $6 fee for those under the age of 60. To dine, make a reservation by noon the Friday before by calling (925) 314-3430. Those 60 and older who are dining will need to fill out a Title lll C Form. For more information, view the county-wide senior nutrition program website or contact the Senior Center at (925) 314-3430.

Free Monday Movie
Enjoy a free movie every Monday at 1:00 PM at the Danville Senior Center Community Hall.

Lend a Hand Day
On Saturday, April 25, volunteers from throughout Danville will help local seniors with spring yardwork.
Lend-a-Hand Day is a community volunteer event that provides assistance with light outdoor clean-up, such as raking, weeding, trimming, and general yard tidying. This event is intended for basic yard maintenance and not major landscaping or heavy labor.
If you are a Danville senior and would like to be considered for yard assistance, please complete the request form below. Submitting a form does not guarantee service, but we will do our best to match volunteers with as many seniors as possible.

Residency Status ClarificationFor residents outside the incorporated Town of Danville limits:Each quarter, the Town receives a number of questions regarding the residency status for individuals and families wishing to register for Town-sponsored programs and activities. Those living outside the Danville Town limits include residents of the communities of Alamo and Diablo, and the Alamo Creek, Bettencourt Ranch, Blackhawk, Bryan Ranch, Monterosso, Shadow Creek, and Whitegate housing developments. In order to verify your residency in Danville, you can:
FeesThe program and facility fees cover a large portion of the actual costs, though Town of Danville residents also partially support the classes, events, and facilities through their property tax assessments. Because of this, those program participants and individuals reserving Town facilities who live outside of Danville pay an additional non-resident charge. Special Notice to Alamo Residents:All Alamo residents are eligible to register for Town-sponsored programs scheduled at Hap Magee Ranch Park during the registration period.
