Beat the Winter Blues with Live Performances in Danville

A lineup of live music, theatre, and family-friendly fun to brighten the season 

If winter has you craving something fun, Danville has you covered. The Town of Danville is turning winter into a season of fun with live music, laugh-out-loud theatre, and free community celebrations that bring families, friends, and visitors together for a winter-to-spring lineup of performances and events. From daytime activities to evening shows, Danville offers plenty of ways to enjoy live entertainment through early spring. 

Featured Winter & Early Spring Performances: 

  • At The Plaza: Free Entertainment Series
    Jan. 17, Feb. 14 & March 14 | 1–3 p.m. | Prospect Park Plaza
    Enjoy live music and hands-on activities in a festive outdoor setting with this free community seriesat Prospect Park Plaza.
    • January 17 – Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration
      Featuring music by Paul Stefani and crafts for kids.
    • February 14 – Valentine’s Day Celebration
      Featuring music by Paul Stefani and crafts for kids.
    • March 14 – St. Patrick’s Day Celebration
      Featuring Irish music and themed crafts for kids.
  • Pete Floyd – Pink Floyd Tribute
    Saturday, February 7 | 8 p.m. | Village Theatre
    Experience the enchanting sound of Pink Floyd brought to life by Pete Floyd, an eight-piece Sonoma/Marin-based tribute band known for authentic renditions, bringing Pink Floyd's legacy to life.
  • Alfred Hitchcock’s The 39 Steps –Abridged, Adapted by Patrick Bariow
    March 6–29 | Village Theatre
    This Hitchcock classic is transformed into a fast-paced, hilarious stage adventure featuring jaw-dropping physical comedy, rapid costume changes, and more than 100 characters portrayed by just four actors. Performances run every weekend in March, beginning Friday, March 6.
  • Journey Revisited – Journey Tribute
    Saturday, April 4 | 8 p.m. | Village Theatre
    Relive the legendary sound of Journey with this high-energy California-based tribute band. With no pre-recorded backing tracks, Journey Revisited delivers a powerful, nostalgic concert experience for rock fans of all ages.
