[ARCHIVED] Town Office Holiday Closure Begins Dec. 25

Police services and limited building inspections available during the holidays and furlough. 

The Town of Danville will have its holiday closure and mandatory staff furlough from December 25, 2024, through January 1, 2025. Offices will be closed for holiday observances December 25-26 and January 1, and Town staff will be on mandatory furlough December 27-29. Front counter operations at Town facilities -- including the Town Offices, Senior Center and Community Centers -- will not be available December 25 through January 1.

Town Offices will hold normal business hours Tuesday, December 24, closing at 5 p.m., and will resume on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 8 a.m.  

Routine and emergency police services will be available throughout the holiday observances and furlough days. The Police Department will have modified front counter hours on the furlough days: 8 to 11:30 a.m. December 24, and 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. December 27, 30 and 31. The Police Department front counter will be closed for the holiday observances December 25-26 and January 1. Residents can request immediate police assistance at any time by calling 911 or 925-820-2144 for non-emergencies.  

Limited building inspections will be available December 27 and December 30–31 by appointment only. For more information about furlough inspection scheduling, visit www.danville.ca.gov/permitcenter

Outdoor park facilities will maintain normal operating hours during the holiday closure.
