Danville Press Release
Mayor’s Town Hall Set for April 30
Mayor Storer to discuss state housing legislation’s impact on Danville
The Town of Danville invites the community to attend a Mayor’s Town Hall event, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on April 30, 2019.
At the event, Mayor Robert Storer and Town staff will address the community on the issue of state housing legislation affecting Danville, and the Town’s legislative advocacy efforts to influence this legislation.
One area to be discussed at the Town Hall will be the CASA Compact. The compact is a housing policy package created by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) and the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) to deal with the state of California’s housing crisis.
Attendees will be able to hear where the compact came from, how it will affect Danville, and how residents can provide feedback to state legislators on this issue.
The Town Hall is set for 6:30 p.m., April 30, 2019 at the Veterans Memorial Building, 400 Hartz Avenue.
For more information on the Town Hall, contact Assistant to the Town Manager Diane Friedmann at (925) 314-3389 or dfriedmann@danville.ca.gov.
