Lisa Forkish Coming to the Village Theatre
Popular Jazz Room program features award winning singer-songwriter

 
 
Bay-Area jazz enthusiasts will be heading to Danville March 24 as The Jazz Room brings Lisa Forkish to the stage. 
 
The next featured performer, Lisa Forkish, is an award-winning singer-songwriter, arranger, and self-described “Love Warrior.” Since 2011 she has been Vocal Music faculty at the Oakland School for the Arts where she is the founder and director of the five-time national champion a cappella group, Vocal Rush, which has been seen on NBC’s “The Sing-Off.”
 
Forkish brings her artistic style of lush, dissonant a cappella arrangements and honest, soulful songwriting to the Village Theatre stage in the next installment of The Jazz Room. The Jazz Room, founded by Eve Marie Shahoian is a Town sponsored music series that occurs monthly at the Village Theatre & Art Gallery. 
 
The show is scheduled for 8:00 p.m., March 24, 2019, at the Village Theatre & Art Gallery, 233 Front St.
