Danville Senior Center Celebrates 10 Years
Open House Anniversary Event Scheduled for April 28, 2022

 
The Danville Veterans Memorial Building was originally constructed in 1925 to honor World War I Veterans. It reopened in 2012 after a two-year renovation as the Veterans Memorial Building and Danville Senior Center to serve local Danville seniors and provide a beautiful auditorium for community events. The Danville Senior Center is turning ten this year.   
 
To commemorate the 10^th anniversary of the building, the Town of Danville is hosting an open house-style event on Thursday, April 28, from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. The community is invited to celebrate a decade of classes, programs, trips, memories, and friendships. All are welcome to enjoy small bites and conversation. All attendees will receive a raffle ticket, and there will be giveaways for the first 100 to arrive.
