The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for Danville and surrounding communities, effective through 10 p.m. Please avoid areas prone to flooding, and do not attempt to drive on or across flooded roads. Town maintenance crews are out working on clearing debris and downed trees, and are in communication with Contra Costa County Flood Control.
The sandbag station is open at the Town’s Service Center, 1000 Sherburne Hills Road, 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, and storm-related concerns such as downed trees or flooding should be reported to the Danville Police Department at 925-820-2144. Please use caution, avoid travel if possible, and stay safe.
