Veterans Day Celebration to Feature Space Pop-Up Museum
The Town of Danville invites residents to visit the Veterans Memorial Building for an Open House featuring a space themed pop-up museum from November 11-13, 2022. Moon rocks, space suits, and model rockets are just a few of the exhibits that will be featured. The UH-1 Huey Helicopter and a Fighter Jet Cockpit from the USS Hornet Museum will be displayed outside the building. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 11, and Saturday, November 12. The hours for Sunday, November 13 are 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
