[ARCHIVED] Pedestrian Improvements at Bret Harte Park

Bret-Harte-Project

Beginning next week a pedestrian improvement project will get underway in the area of Bret Harte Parke and Vista Grande Street, adjacent to Vista Grande Elementary School.

On May 21, 2018 crews will begin work on the project, which will consist of demolition and installation of concrete sidewalk and other related work designed to improve access to Bret Harte Park.  Work hours will be 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The project is expected to last through mid-June, during which time parking along and in front of Bret Harte Park will be restricted.

No Parking signs will be posted 72 hours prior to the actual days of work in areas that will be affected.  Flaggers, detours, and traffic control signs will be used to help direct traffic and provide pedestrian access, as necessary.  Residents in the area are asked to avoid on-street parking on days when the work is in progress, and to park in other adjacent neighborhoods temporarily.

We apologize for any inconvenience.
