Meet Auggie the Acorn 

New mascot joins the Town’s Recreation, Arts & Community Services Department 

The Town’s Recreation, Arts & Community Services Department has a new mascot. Auggie the Acorn is the “Grand-nut” of Danville’s Old Oak Tree on Diablo Road and the newest member of the Recreation, Arts & Community Services team.

Community members will have a chance to meet Auggie the Acorn, at Osage Station Park on Tuesday, August 31. Auggie will make a debut at Arts & Rec on the Go between 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Acorn-themed activities will be available between 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
