[ARCHIVED] Vaccinations are now available to those 50+

COVID-19 Vaccine Information

Vaccinations ARE Now Available to Those 50+ Beginning on Monday, March 22, 2021.

Contra Costa Health Services has announced that COVID-19 vaccines will be available to anyone who is 50 and older and lives or works in the county, regardless of whether they have an underlying health condition.

The change was announced as Contra Costa County has begun to receive additional vaccine supplies from the federal government, in addition to what it already receives from the State of California. This marks a significant increase in the availability of the vaccine as it was only one week ago that the county expanded its eligibility to include those 16-64 with underlying conditions. Adding in the 50-64 range, with no underlying conditions, will allow an additional 325,000 residents to get access to a COVID-19 vaccination.

Residents eligible for vaccination may request an appointment online or by calling (833) 829- 2626.
