[ARCHIVED] Town Talks Livestream Program with Mayor Renee Morgan

Town Talks - Talk Locally

In the April 2, 2021 installment of the Town Talks Livestream program, Mayor Renee Morgan and Town of Danville staff will tackle housing issues facing the Town. The Mayor will be joined by Town Manager Joe Calabrigo, Chief of Planning David Crompton, and Assistant to the Town Manager Diane Friedmann.  Topics that will be covered during the program include:  

  • State Housing legislation and its effect on Danville
  • The update of the Town of Danville’s 2022-30 Housing Element 
  • Housing Needs – how are each city’s numbers allocated
  • Continuing erosion of local control 

Viewers will be able to ask questions using the chat feature or can email questions ahead of time at towntalks@danville.ca.gov.  Following the program, it will be uploaded to the Town of Danville’s Youtube channel and hosted on the town’s website www.danville.ca.gov.

The program is intended to provide a safe way for residents to hear from their community leaders and get up to the minute information on the issues and topics facing Danville. Viewers will have the opportunity to ask questions in the chat and have them answered in real-time. Questions can also be asked in advance by e-mailing towntalks@danville.ca.gov

Following the program, residents can either view the entire program or short snippets from each episode on the Town of Danville’s Youtube channel.  

Each month Mayor Morgan will feature new guests and topics of interest to the community.

Town Talks is the latest online outreach vehicle used by the Town of Danville. It joins 10-8: In Service, a Facebook Live program held on Wednesday at 5:00 P.M. by Police Chief Allan Shields and Lt. Jason Ingrassia.
