Danville residents have a new way to stay informed as Mayor Renee Morgan will begin a monthly live stream broadcast called Town Talks. The Zoom-based program is set to launch at 9:00 A.M. on March 5, 2021, and then occur on the first Friday of each following month. Register to view the program at:

For the first program, Mayor Morgan will speak with Contra Costa County Deputy Health Officer Dr. Ori Tzvieli, San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District Chief Paige Meyer, and San Ramon Valley Regional Medical Center Chief Executive Officer Ann Lucena. The group will talk about the current COVID-19 response, the rollout of vaccinations in Contra Costa County, and the challenges of providing front-line care during a pandemic.
Town Talks is the latest online outreach vehicle used by the Town of Danville. It joins 10-8: In Service, a Facebook Live program held on Wednesday at 5:00 P.M. by Police Chief Allan Shields and Lt. Jason Ingrassia.
The programs are intended to provide a safe way for residents to hear from their community leaders and get up to the minute information on the issues and topics facing Danville. Viewers will have the opportunity to ask questions in the chat and have them answered in real-time. Questions can also be asked in advance by e-mailing towntalks@danville.ca.gov.
Following the program, residents can either view the entire program or short snippets from each episode on the Town of Danville’s Youtube channel.
Each month Mayor Morgan will feature new guests and topics of interest to the community.
