COVID-19 Vaccine Information

Vaccine Information Available on County Website:

Contra Costa Health Services has created a new web page that describes the COVID-19 vaccine and the plans for how it will be distributed.  The site can be found at https://www.coronavirus.cchealth.org/vaccine

CCHS will be taking a multi-phased approach to the distribution of the vaccine to the populace.  There will be four phases: 1A, 1B, 1C, and 2.  Currently, Contra Costa County is in Phase 1A which includes health care workers and residents and employees of long-term care facilities.  Phase 1B includes frontline essential workers, people over age 75, congregate care settings with outbreak risk.  Phase 1C will include those ages 50-64, ages 16-64 with medical conditions, and other essential workers. Phase 2 will include the remainder of those not yet vaccinated.

Contra Costa Health Services has also launched a new Vaccine Dashboard to show how many doses have so far been administered. https://www.coronavirus.cchealth.org/vaccine-dashboard
