The National Weather Service has issued a Fire Weather Watch Warning which is in effect from 11:00 A.M. Sunday, October 25 to 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 27.
A strong wind event is forecast Sunday night with a High Wind Watch and Fire Weather Watches in effect for much of the Bay Area. Winds gradually ease later Monday into Tuesday. High pressure will bring a warming trend for much of next week with warm days and cool nights as overnight lows drop into the 30s for interior valleys.
North - Northeast winds 25-35 mph, gusts 40-60 mph with 45-50 mph, locally stronger winds at highest elevations.
Poor humidity recoveries.
Increased risk of new wildfire starts and rapid spread.
