A warming trend is forecast through Friday as high pressure builds over California and offshore flow increases. Locally strong and gusty offshore winds are expected in the hills from Wednesday through Friday Morning, especially in the North and East Bay Hills and Santa Cruz Mountains. Strongest winds are forecast from Wednesday evening through Thursday morning. Gusty offshore winds combined with very warm and dry conditions will likely create critical fire weather conditions in the hills from Wednesday through Friday morning.
North - Northeast winds 15-30 mph, gusts 30-40 mph with 45-50 mph gusts possible at highest elevations.
Dry conditions throughout the event with lower humidity values possible at night.
