Contra Costa with Health Officers from the Bay Area have announced a
Public Health Order that requires residents to stay home except for
essential needs.

On Monday, March 16, Contra Costa County Health Services, in conjunction with all Bay Area counties, issued a public health order directing everyone to shelter at their place of residence unless they are conducting essential business.  In an effort to provide additional info, the county has put out a list of frequently asked questions. This FAQ, as well as other information can be found on our coronavirus updates webpage, www.danville.ca.gov/coronavirus.  For information specific to the shelter order, you can call the county’s help line at 1-844-729-8410

The stay home order doesn’t mean you can’t go out and walk the dog, go for a hike or a bike ride.  Just, if you do these activities remember to practice good social distancing, and do not congregate in groups.
