Contra Costa with Health Officers from the Bay Area have announced a
Public Health Order that requires residents to stay home except for
essential needs.

On Monday, March 16, Contra Costa County Health Services, in conjunction with all Bay Area counties, issued a public health order directing everyone to shelter at their place of residence unless they are conducting essential business.  In an effort to provide additional info, the county has put out a list of frequently asked questions. This FAQ, as well as other information can be found on our coronavirus updates webpage,  For information specific to the shelter order, you can call the county’s help line at 1-844-729-8410

The stay home order doesn’t mean you can’t go out and walk the dog, go for a hike or a bike ride.  Just, if you do these activities remember to practice good social distancing, and do not congregate in groups.
