[ARCHIVED] Danville Teen Centers Offer After-School Activities

For parents wondering what their middle-schooler can do in the fall after school, the Town of Danville has the answer. Register your student for the Teen Centers! Town staff maintain and monitor the centers to create a safe and exciting environment for after-school fun. Teen Centers are available at Charlotte Wood, Los Cerros, and Diablo Vista Middle Schools.

After school, students can join staff in games, activities, a snack or to simply sit down and enjoy a moment of respite before starting homework.  The Town’s Teen Centers follow the San Ramon Valley Unified School District calendar, and are open from the last school bell until 5:30 p.m.  In addition, they are open on minimum days.

Something new at the Teen Centers is a volunteerism component. The teens are giving back by creating blankets for foster care children, making treats for the humane society, writing letters to servicemen & women, and more.

For more information or to register for the fall Teen Centers, go to www.danville.ca.gov/recguide or call the Community Center at (925) 314-3700.
