A pair of short term projects are set to begin early next week in downtown Danville. The projects are the renovation of the restrooms in the caboose at the Museum of the San Ramon Valley and bridge work on Diablo Road at Front Street...
The two projects beginning the week of Oct 22, 2018 are the following:
Caboose Restroom Renovation: Beginning on October 22, 2018, crews will be working to renovate the restrooms at the caboose at the Museum of the San Ramon Valley, corner of W. Prospect Avenue and Railroad Avenue. While the project is underway, temporary restrooms will be set up nearby for use. Renovation work is expected to be completed by November 5, 2018.
PG& E Work on Diablo Road: Beginning Tuesday Oct 23, 2018 PG& E will be engaged in pipe work under the bridge on Diablo Road at Front Street. Crews will be engaged in sanding, painting and pipe work from 9:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m. The work will result in the closure of one lane of traffic. Motorists will be able to get through the work zone, however some minor delays should be expected. Project should be completed by October 26, 2018.
