DesTEENation Camp

Welcome back to DesTEENation Camp! This summer it is all about experiences! Each week will start with exciting group projects like water bottle rocket launches, water balloon catapults, amazing group murals, and much more. Tuesday - Thursday will be filled with great trips, with a Wednesday extended trip to 5:00 p.m. Every Friday features a Talent Show BBQ with all Los Cerros camps, plus free swim at the Monte Vista Community Pool. Bring a snack, lunch and water, Monday-Thursday, unless otherwise specified in the parent email. Trips are subject to change. Staff to camper ratio is 1:10 at camp and 1:8 on field trips. An Extended Camp program is also available beginning at 7:30 a.m. and extending to 6:00 p.m.

Learn to be a Camp Counselor; Become a Leader In Training

Leaders-In-Training (LITs) learn game leading techniques, discipline strategies, and how to gain and keep the attention of children, as well as job skills for future employment.  Accepted participants will get to work with our great staff; learning leadership, responsibility, reliability, and much more. To interview for a position please register for one of the interview timeslots.  For more information please contact the Community Center at 314-3400.

Participants accepted as LITs must attend mandatory pre-summer training. Training dates will be determined and announced at interview times.
