• Sports Leagues

  • The Town of Danville maintains a varied offering of recreational experiences through adult sports and fitness leagues and programs. Current leagues include:

  •     Coed Bocce Ball (Spring, Summer, Fall)

    The Bocce program offers leagues Monday through Friday evenings. Each night can accommodate up to 16 teams.  All games are played at Sycamore Valley Park and start at 6:00pm.  Leagues run for eight (8) weeks, plus one (1) week of play-offs.

    Cost: $195/team, plus $10 per non-resident player

        Coed Softball/ Coed Kickball (Spring, Summer, Fall)

    The Town of Danville's Adult Coed Softball and Kickball League is great for adults of all ages. No experience necessary! Coed Softball is offered on Wednesday nights, and Coed Kickball is offered on Friday evenings. All games are played at Sycamore Valley Park. Games are scheduled at 6:30pm, 7:40pm, and 8:50pm. Each season runs eight (8) weeks plus one (1) week of playoffs. Kickball teams must have a minimum of 8 players, with a minimum of 3 women. Softball teams must have a minimum of 12 players with a minimum of 3 women.

    Cost: $400/team, plus $10 per non-resident player

        Men's 5 on 5 Basketball (year-round)

    The 5 on 5 Adult Basketball league is held on Tuesday nights. 

    Depending on league size, game are held at Diablo Vista and Los Cerros Middle Schools. 

    Each season runs for eight (8) weeks, plus two (2) weeks of playoffs. Game are scheduled at 7:00pm, 8:00pm, and 9:00pm. (Please note season length and game times can vary based on enrollment.)

    Cost: $470/team, plus $10 per non-resident player

        Men's Softball (Spring, Summer, Fall)

    The Adult Softball Program features leagues on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Each league can accommodate up to 12 teams. All games are played at Sycamore Valley Park. Games are scheduled at 6:30pm, 7:40pm, and 8:50pm. Each season runs eight (8) weeks plus one (1) week of playoffs.

    Cost: $500/team, plus $10 per non-resident player

    Please note registration opens at 8:30 a.m. on all dates.
    To qualify as a resident team, ALL team members on the roster must reside in incorporated Danville. To determine your individual residency status, read more at: Residency Status Clarification.
     
  • Sports League Registration Information

  •     Roster Submission

    Submitted rosters must contain a name, address, phone number and birth date for each player in order to be considered "complete" and must include payment to reserve your spot. 

    Rosters may be dropped off at the Danville Community Center, 420 Front Street, or faxed to (925) 838-9141. 

    Rosters submitted in person or faxed prior to 8:30 am on the appropriate registration date will not be accepted.

        Rainout Make-ups
    Make-ups for rain-outs will be scheduled on your regular night of play whenever possible. If your team cannot attend a scheduled make-up, your team will forfeit. If a make-up cannot be scheduled at all, your team will be credited ($) for that week of play.

        Resident/Non-Resident Team Status
    To qualify as a resident team, all team members must live within the incorporated-Danville boundaries, or sponsored by an incorporated-Danville business with a current business license and pay by a company check. 
        Free Agent Registration Information
    Individuals interested in participating in the leagues are invited to join the Town of Danville’s Free Agent list. This list is made available upon request of current team managers needing to fill spots.
