Town of Danville SAFETEA-LU Improvements Phase II (CIP C-508) project utilizes federal funds from the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU), a federal grant program. The work includes pavement rehabilitation, roadway base repair, replacement of striping, utility cover adjustments, removal of wireless vehicle detectors and installation of loop detectors in pavement. The project is located on Camino Tassajara westbound lanes from approximately Sycamore Valley Rd to Eastern town limits, excluding a section located within Contra Costa County right of way. Loop detector installation includes all intersections on Camino Tassajara from Sycamore Valley Rd to Eastern town limits and Crow Canyon Road between Camino Tassajara and Sentry Lane.
