• Planning Commission

  • The Planning Commission consists of seven regular members and up to two alternate members appointed by the Town Council. The Commission serves the Town Council by providing diligent review of all planning and development proposals coming into Danville. Commissioners hold hearings over proposed developments, discuss how plans may be amended or modified to bring them within Town statutes and serve a vital function in the areas of zoning, land use and development. The Commission works with Town Planners periodically to update the Town's General Plan, which then goes on to the Town Council for their review and discusion.
